Alexander Garbu, Founder & CEO of iQubator
Swedish-Romanian computer nerd turning lawyer turning entrepreneur with a Master of Science in Business Administration from Stockholm University. Except his business degree Alexander has conducted extensive studies in law and languages at Stockholms, Uppsala, Lund and Shanghai universities and moved to China in 2007.
Alexander has earlier worked with Stockholm University, Norstat, Scandic Sourcing and the Swedish Trade Council in Shanghai and has been engaged in both starting and leading different NGOs such as the Swedish-Romanian Association Swerom, the Swedish Law students Association and Stockholm University’s Association of Law.
Alexander has over 7 years´ business experience in China covering sourcing, sales, e-commerce, events, IT and web development, serviced offices and support services, business strategy and development, outsourcing and marketing with a focus on fashion.
Public speaker at different schools and universities such as Stockholm U, Shanghai U and Fudan U Business School, seminars, workshops and conferences in E-commerce, Entrepreneurship and Business in China.
Running iQubator in HK, Shanghai and Jiaxing since 2010, Anysuit online since 2007 and Mingtian AB and happytie.se in Sweden since 2012.
iQubator is a new, innovative platform for small and medium sized companies in the fashion, design and e -business industries that wish to enter the Chinese market through the low cost and safety of e-commerce but also with full offline support services.
Currently our main project is the China Kick-start Business Accelerator in collaboration with Shanghai International Fashion Education Center.
